Holy crap, it's been a long time since I posted here. I've been seduced away by Facebook!
And then things have been happening which are kind of a downer. Mom's Alzheimer is (of course) getting worse, not better. Christmas was a trial and a half.
Things seem to be a bit better right now--fingers crossed.
Money is less of a worry than it has been--it's never not a worry, but there are degrees of worry, yeah?

I may try to post here more as I want to say some things that just aren't suitable for Fb.
You've been on my mind quite a bit lately.
Glad to see you here. I have been trying to stay more LJ focused and am happy when friends are posty!
Hugs, sweets.
FB really gets contentious at times, doesn't it?
Yes, I have moved to posting more often in LJ because I can count on people to have a civilized discussion and not go bat shit even if we agree to disagree. I have to simply ignore the gun control is bad memes from childhood friends. I got into quite a row with one where I just said "I give up!" and she accused me of having shut down because I couldn't argue. I retorted I couldn't stop thinking of spading earth over 20 little graves and frankly, she was the one who was shutting down and out. Grrr still pisses me to think of it.
So yes, it is much more freeing to be on LJ.
Now you take care of yourself. Dealing with ageing parents can make you just cry for no damned good reason, except that you know things will never be the same and all you can do is watch and occasionally connect when they recognize you.
